Services and the AI
Everything the AI says and books comes from Services & AI. Here is what each part does.
Your services
- Open Services & AI. Add one service for each thing you sell, like Roofing or Gutters.
- The AI only books a lead whose service matches one of yours, with a sales agent who does that service.
Questions the AI asks
- Under each service, fill in Questions the AI asks, one per line.
- Keep them short and easy to answer on the phone, for example “Is this a repair or a full replacement?”
- The answers show on the lead and the appointment, so your sales agent arrives prepared.
Other words leads use
- Lead sites name services their own way. Angi might send “Roof Leak Repair” for your Roofing.
- Add those words under Other words leads use for this service.
- If a lead’s wording matches none of your services, it is not called. It goes to Needs a human as “No matching agent” so a person can decide.
The AI’s name, voice and voicemail
- AI name: any name you like, with any voice.
- Voice: pick one and press play to hear it.
- Voicemail the AI leaves: leave it empty to use the message shown in grey.
- Calls per lead: how many times the AI tries a lead that doesn’t answer.
- Handoff number: where the AI sends a homeowner who asks for a person.
- Timezone: your company’s time zone.
The AI’s phone number and its script are set by the HelloSetter team. Ask in the chat bubble or Support to change them.
Rules the AI always follows
- It only calls between 8am and 9pm in the lead’s own time zone. A lead that arrives at night is called in the morning.
- It never says which website the lead came from.
- It never calls anyone who asked not to be called again.
- It never books outside a sales agent’s hours, or over a busy time in their connected calendar.
